Great Ideas for Your Classroom on Constitution DayFor Constitution Day have a fundraiser for the Student Press Law Center. A bake sale, a car wash, even a simple collection – not just for the money, but as a way to have students learn about SPLC and students’ First Amendment Rights
SPLC helps high schools and colleges across the country with free legal advice (and even free legal counsel). It defends students’ and teachers’ First Amendment rights. We hope you have gone to the SPLC website (http://www.splc.org/resource.asp) and downloaded the section on copyright and music. This website offers so much for teachers and students. When teachers get in First Amendment trouble with the administration, SPLC is there to help.
And please let RTNDF know if you can participate.
